A 19th Century farm in the heart of beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.

The Good Life Farm (originally The Parker Farm), located in Victoria Vale, was built in 1854 by the Parker family and stayed in the family until 1966 at which time it was purchased by Alan Higgins and family from Massachusetts.

It stayed with the Higgins family until Al's death when it was bought by Alex and Fran Smith in 2009.

The outbuildings are solid with the original hand hewn beams and posts. At one time they provided a coach house and workshop, the original horse stalls for Bonny Lass and Harry are still there.

"Those who never sink into the peace of nature lose a tremendous well of strength, for there is something healing and life giving in the mere atmosphere surrounding a country house" - Eleanor Roosevelt
